ABOUT PARISA PIRZADEH

Thorough her previous positions she has been given the opportunity to achieve first-hand experience in performing violin. Parisa’s first contact point with the instrument was about 20 years ago when she was only 11 years old. Prior to graduation, she has started professional career as a violist in Tehran symphony orchestra for four continuous years.

Shortly after graduation, she has started a cooperation with POURIAMEHR music studio in Tehran as a private violin tutor for another 6 years. During this period she has performed various both solo and group performances, attending many overseas orchestra including Czech television sound stage as the most recent one.

After immigration to the Uk she started playing one of the most ancient Persian music instruments (Gheychak) in collaboration with Hamdel Ensemble which its music combines hauntingly beautiful Sufi music with whirling dervish dance and poetry.

She has another notable performance during this period, which is MAX BRUCH double concerto for violin and viola in 2013. In 2017, she published an album on vocalise-selected pieces of classical music.

She is working as a selffunded violin player since 2018 and working with various Persian music bands running performance during in various countries.

She has settled down in Manchester after marriage and artistically seeking for another exciting opportunity right here in the UK.
The training and education that she has pursued have been also instrumental and performance.

She has done a postgraduate master degree in 2014 at Tehran Art University.

She has also published a book on investigating the comparative performance features of Persian Ghaychak instrument and violin Alto in 2018 in both English and Farsi. Since graduation, She has been continuously seeking and participating CPD courses.
