Khialfam (Lunatic)
Publisher: AE Records
Lunatic, as it sounds is a combination of two worlds, phantasm and hue as color, which is an abstract inspiration from the eastern music. It may sound impossible to clearly follow those common sounds and forms, but the chain which connect this collection together is the element that the huge part of the eastern music has been prop up to that called “ improvise “ the melodies are some excuses to express what we get from what is surround us. How beautiful the Iranian music has thought us how to change our view into the melodies every minute and how to use from every single of these melodies to express our feelings in common, association of this feeling and the improvising vocalize with another melody which has been made from thousand miles away and a different culture would have made this experience more special.
In this collection the association with “Kamanche “which has become one of the most inspiring and well known instrument in Iranian music, and Harp making which has some basic bones in common with the eastern and the western music, also “Tabla “which originally is an eastern instrument with a particular structure, presents a fresh modulation sound, moreover the players of this opus who are from three different nationality such as Iranian, Dutch, Indian, who make a variation of colors with different type of view and musical culture .
Lunatic, briefly is the result of an association among three different cultures leaning on the eastern music. So it’s possible to consider it as an experience for making new sound and sharing artist’s emotions in the shape of an opus . A different type of view which may help to make our mood much better in these rough days.
